Talking Heads Toastmaster Club ,Cape Town ,South Africa was chartered in July 1995 and was initially a company club to give young people in business the opportunity to improve their communication and leadership skills.  The club has since opened its doors to anyone, whether in business or not, to enjoy the enormous benefits Toastmasters has to offer.

 

The club forms part of Toastmasters International, which started in 1924 by Dr Ralph Smedley, and which today has over 9000 clubs worldwide.  Each member is encouraged to participate in the Communication and Leadership assignments, and through a process of evaluation by their fellow club members, are recognised internationally for their achievements.

 

Talking Heads Toastmasters is a young club which meets monthly and enjoy a lively, fun atmosphere in a spirit of learning and development.  Each club member determines his or her own pace of learning and is supported with excellent educational material as well as encouraging and motivating evaluations.
